Next GDMB Committee for Geothermal Energy in Bruchsal

From November 16 to 17, 2022, the next expert committee meeting for geothermal energy of the GDMB will take place in Bruchsal at the invitation of the Energie Baden-Württemberg (EnBW AG).

Today, the head of the GDMB's "Geothermal Energy" expert committee, Mr. Thomas Neu, announced the next meeting on November 16 and 17, 2022 in Burchsal. The two-day event will focus on the Upper Rhine Graben.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, after a previous lunch break, the committee meeting will first begin with a presentation session. In addition to welcoming all participants, the geothermal power plant of EnBW and its lithium extraction project will be presented. This will be followed by a plant tour and the internal meeting of the technical committee. At the end of the first day, all participants are invited to a group dinner.

The second day of the event, November 17, 2022, kicks off in the morning with a series of lectures on deep geothermal energy in the Upper Rhine Graben. Before closing the event, there will be a buffet lunch served.
